Everything's excellent. So I appreciate you jumping on. We don't have anybody in the audience yet. But I'm still going to do my intro. Like I said, um, earlier, we are also recording this. So if anybody in our membership, you know, you're listening in to the replay, we appreciate you being on. And obviously if anybody else jumps in during this event, uh, we're going to be inviting them up on stage too, if they want to ask any questions or, uh, jump in with any of their top 10 favorite social media tools, we could definitely do that, but before I ramble on Jasmine, tell us a little bit about yourself.
So my name is Jasmine and I own a social media management company. It's called All Jazzed Up Media. I started this in 2018 while I was, um, working my full time corporate job. Uh, I got laid off. Last year in September after working there for eight years. And now I have fully transitioned into the social media world.
It's been great. I love all things social. I'm an extrovert. I love connecting with people. I love the internet. I refer to myself as a super millennial for a reason like everything about me is just Uh someone who loves social media. So That is how I got into this business. I absolutely love it. No. Yeah.
Awesome. We appreciate that So I know jasmine from from a former life. So when I was back in corporate, um, and since left, but I actually like The evolution of what she's been going through as well. So she's in social media now, just like me, you know, so we're at glad mash and we try to help as many, you know, real estate agents, business owners, as much as possible growing social.
I like how she said, you know, she, she loves everything social. And, um, yeah, one of the challenges that we have though, is sometimes clients just think that it's just super easy or, you 20 a month. So I was attracted to one of Jasmine's posts about, you know, just the cost per year of some of the social media tools that she uses and it just gave me a content idea.
So what's going on O. T.? I see that O. T. 's an audience. Um, but again, just to get back on track, it gave me inspiration to say that, you know what, let's Educate some potential clients or current clients on, you know, how much it costs. And if there are people out there that aren't quite ready to get social media manager, there are a lot of tools that they could use to do it themselves.
And I don't mind that. I don't think Jasmine minds that as well. Like to me, my favorite customer is the educated customer. The customer that is like, you know what, I have all the tools, I'm doing all the things, but I just don't have time, right? I just don't have the time to do it. So can I hire you? Can, you know, can you jump on my team or can we work together?
Can we partner to get to the next level? So that's how this, um, was born. So again, Jasmine, I'm super grateful. And we're talking backstage. I'm honestly excited to learn more about some of the tools that she listed. Uh, so I'm gonna have her, uh, start off. Uh, what's your first one, Jasmine? So my first one. Is story swag.
Um, yes. So story swag is just a really easy way to create, um, engaging Instagram stories or Facebook stories. Um, it's super simple to use. You're able to. You know, upload a photo. Um, they have all of the, you know, the really good fonts, as I call them, uh, the really eye catching fonts. You can change the colors.
Um, so, you know, when you're uploading stories for yourself or for a client, it doesn't have to just, you know, look basic. It can be on brand with, um, you know, with the client's, uh, business. Awesome. Awesome. All right. Story swag. I got to check that one out. Uh, so my first one is not a creator tool, but more of like a resource type tool.
And you've all heard it before. Um, but I don't think a lot of people understand like, like the full brevity of what it could do. So the first one is Calendly. So Calendly again, super famous and it's a calendar tool. And the reason I recommend to a lot of clients is because, you know, oftentimes they're trying to schedule with, you know, people online, but, uh, they have no way to do it.
And I actually recommend that they bump up to the paid version of Calendly. So people know Calendly for the free version. Hey, jump on my calendar, blah, blah, blah. Uh, you know, we could schedule at a time that's good for me. But the reason I recommend this tool is the automation. So once you pay, I believe, 10 a month.
You jump up to the next level, which is pro. Um, and you could actually set up automations where, you know, once they schedule, they could put in a phone number and in these workflows, they could say that, Hey, or you could say that, Hey, I want you to text them at this number, you know, A day before 30 minutes before five minutes below or five minutes before below five below, uh, five minutes before And what that's good for is actually like retention rates and show up rates because sometimes people book But then never go back to check email and just honestly forget But uh the automation piece where it's going to text you on your phone five minutes before Super key and it's ten dollars per month.
So that's my first one. What you got next jazz. Okay Yeah, uh next I am going to say Iconosquare. That's been a new one that I've been using. Uh, it's a little, you know, on the more expensive side, um, it's going to be, it's in ends up being 360 a year. However, um, it is very, is a great tool for analytics. So literally, you go in there, you can connect your accounts to it, you can connect your client's accounts to it, you can connect all social media platforms, uh, and you're literally just able to download a report of all analytics.
So, you know, insights on Facebook, you know, on Instagram, all that is great. But if you want to look in and say, Hey, this is what's working. I've gotten, you know, the best reach on this post. I've gotten, you know, the most engagement on these types of posts. It literally lists everything. It has pictures. It has graphs.
Um, and you know, me as a social media manager, it takes so much off of my plate. I don't even mind like having to pay for it because. Yeah, because it's me downloading a report. Um, and so typically I report analytics monthly once I get comfortable with a client. But in the beginning, um, it's mostly biweekly at my actual job, uh, where I am a social media manager, we have to submit analytics weekly.
So that's where I found out about this tool. The first time I used it, I said, this is amazing. And it makes my life so much easier. It's professional because I can literally just send it, you know, in PDF form, uh, format to the client. And then they're able to check out their analytics and we can, you know, meet and talk about it together.
Nice. All right. So you just educated me on that one. I've never even heard of Iconosquare before. Um, but I'm in the same boat where I've been crafting my own analytics. But this, with this tool, it feels like, you know, it'll just do it for me. Quick question for you. Will it allow you to brand it for, for the 360 per year?
That it doesn't do. I really, really.
Oh, did I lose you Jasmine?
Oh, I could have lost Jasmine. John came on. I see Omeka. If you could hear me, uh, just give me a little hand raised and we'll continue. And hopefully we can get jasmine back on up. There you go. I see jazz. I can't hear you though, but I see
Uh, we'll keep the show rolling still can't hear you up. See the thumbs up. Thank you. Omeka. Thanks john for jumping on My next tool is going to be um So everybody talks about chat GPT and I love it. But even before chat GPT, one of the tools that we used in our agency was Jasper AI. Now Jasper AI, I think it's 30 a month that we're paying for it.
And it's actually built on the same. You know, resources that chat GPTs, you know, built on. Um, but I love the UI. So the user interfaces is very easy and great for either of my clients. Like if they want to get into AI, but they don't know where to start or they're not good with the prompts. I think chat GPT is great, but only.
As great as the prompts, right? So if you're new and you're like, Hey, I just need a LinkedIn post or I need a blog article, the way the UI is set up is built for marketing, right? So there are all these marketing templates, um, and it will pretty much just guide you straight through. And as you go through, it'll actually spit out whatever you need.
So Jasper AI, 30 a month, one of my favorite tools. Yep. Jasmine.
Are you still not able to hear me? I can hear you now. You're back. Thank you. Okay. Hey, for the record though, I was ready to go on. I got my list. The show must go on, but I appreciate you. Yeah, I can hear you. Yes. I'm here. Okay. Yeah. I don't know what happened there. Um, okay. My next. Oh, what? I'm sorry. Let me get myself together.
Oh, I am going to go to captions pro. Okay. Um. Uh, because I, you know, you want to close caption everything, any kind of reel that you post, uh, I, the exact Statistics escape me, but a lot of people watch videos on Instagram or any platform for that matter on mute. Uh, so captions is a very easy way to brand, uh, the captions.
Like you can, you know, add your client's colors, uh, so that they can be on brand with what they're looking for. Um, you know, with what, um You know, be on brand with what they have and, uh, you're able to close captioning is several different fonts that you can use several, several different styles, uh, and it's only 10 a month, so it's not too crazy.
Uh, but yeah, I absolutely love captions. Um, I see so many people use it and it is super. Uh, the way that they put the captions on the videos. I agree. I agree so much that I saw your list and I had to just piggyback off of captions with the app that I use. Yeah. With the app that I use called sub magic. So sub magic is definitely a little bit more expensive.
Um, it's 480 per year. Um, but it's all about what Jasmine just said captions, um, but they have elevated their functionality. So if you've ever seen like the Alex Hormozy style or the Mr. Beast style where it's jumping up and down on the screen, there's, you know, emojis added, um, just like Captions Pro, what Jasmine was talking about, you can still, you know, color coordinate and coordinate and, you know, shape it and add your own, um, you know, if you had to edit captions, you could do that.
But I like the fact that You could use it on a laptop or on a computer as well. So it's a desktop app. So as I'm editing, um, you know, it just gives me a little bit more extra, I guess, room or freedom to get creative and it's called sub magic. And they also have like a creator or agency. plan. It's even more than that per year, but you could get to do up to like 400 videos per month.
So if that's, you know, obviously if you're a user, you're not doing 400 videos. Um, but at the very lowest possible point, um, you could kind of jump in, test it out and, uh, automatically do those captions. So I'm, I'm right there with you, Jasmine. I love captions and I don't think I'll take on another video client without recommending that they actually caption their, their creative videos.
Yeah, I'm interested in that one. Yeah, Sub Magic. Yeah, Sub Magic. Yeah, I'm going to look into that one. Um, okay, so my next one, I'm going to go with the good old trusty Adobe Creative Suite. Nice. Um, I, I, I love Adobe, Adobe, uh, Premiere Pro. That was, that wasn't the first editing software I learned in college.
I actually learned five. Pro first, but I think Adobe launched theirs. I want to say 2012 and that was my sophomore year. So, uh, from then on, I've, I've just always loved Adobe premiere, Adobe light room. I'm not a photographer, but, um, I'm, uh, being able to go in and edit photos is super helpful. Um, because of course I do a lot of work on my phone, like a lot of.
So that's the easy way, um, to go in and edit photos. Um, and Adobe stock. Um, so those are going to be my, and then Adobe express design. So yeah, the Adobe creative suite is just so much in it again. It's, it's a little bit, you know, On the pricier side, I am, don't tell anybody, I am stealing my, I'm using my cousin's, um, college email address so that I can get the student pricing.
Wow. Wow. Yes, I love Adobe Creative Suite. Even, you know, after she graduates, I'll just pay the full price. Nah, nah. I have to, I have to agree with you. Um, I've used Final Cut 2. Um, for a lot of my video editing, but right now I'm using Lightroom. So as you know, if, or if you don't know, I'm a photographer and I only edit photos using Lightroom.
So I do agree with, uh, Adobe products as well. Fantastic. Yeah. A little expensive, but they're fantastic. So I'm going to, I'm going to, yeah, right. So I'm going to counter the Adobe suite with an app that I use called ScreenFlow. Uh, so screen, ScreenFlow is a video editing app. Um, and the thing I love about it is it's also a screen capture app.
So if you're in a position where you have to capture a screen, like you're doing a presentation, but you want to talk over it. Or you want to, I'm sure you've seen videos with, you know, the little faces in the corner where you're talking and going, uh, it will do that, but it will also, it's also a full editor and bigger than that, uh, I love the price.
So it's a one time fee of, I believe 150 and then you just own it. So if you want to upgrade or if there, you know, later versions that come out, you could also pay, but, um, you don't have to be like Jasmine and her cousin paying, you know, monthly, if you want to kind of just jump in and edit. So I do love, uh, again, I do love.
ScreenFlow. I've been using it for about three years now. Now it is old school, right? So it's not as savvy as Adobe products. But again, if you're a student, if you're just starting out as a business owner and you don't need anything fancy, it's a great place to start. But I know a lot of social media managers that just need something basic and they just need to cut up videos.
We'll still mess with it. So look at it almost like, um, like I movie, but on steroids. Okay. So screen flow. Screen full. I make a note of that one. 'cause it's funny. My next, uh, one that I'm gonna bring up Mm-Hmm. is, uh, cap cut. Yeah, let's talk about it. Yes. So I, so I love cap cut, but it kind of aggravates me sometimes too.
And I have another platform that I'm gonna bring up later, uh, that does the same. So, okay. I might, I might steal it. So I'm gonna, in like , I'm purposefully interrupting you, so don't tell me what it is. But I have one that. To counter CapCut, so we'll see if it's the same one, but go ahead. But, uh, but yeah, CapCut, um, You know, CapCut's really cool, it definitely makes it easy If you're trying to do a recap or a photo dump, Uh, I think that the transitions That they automatically add in are cool Um, the only thing is CapCut stands, you can, a lot of times You can look at something and tell that Someone used CapCut, so that's Kind of aggravates me about it because in the you know, it's super user friendly like it's like you said, um I don't even know if I would call cap cut I move you on steroids because it literally almost does the work for you really does It does so if you have some time and you can You know, scroll through your phone and try to find something that's really unique or, you know, if you are a video editor, you can kind of add things in and make it your own.
But outside of that, CapCut, something can look like it was CapCut, if that makes sense. However, um, if I am doing a recap for someone or quick, like commercial type video, um, It does make it easier me. I just kind of go in and You know this phrase was gonna come up at some point jazz it up and kind of just make it not look like a cat cut production Right, right, right right now.
I agree like it's um I have mixed feelings when it comes down to CapCut because like you said, it is a step up. Um, but I still do pay for it as one of those apps that's like, hey, just in case I'm on the go and I need to edit on my phone real quick, I could do it. Um, and if you are looking, the other thing I like too is if you're editing for somebody that's on TikTok or Instagram.
There are a lot of templates and themes. So a lot of people don't click the templates button, but if you click on templates and just upload your own stuff, like Jasmine said, it's going to do everything for you. Um, but the caveat to that is it's going to look like everybody else's stuff. Um, so I'm countering cap cut within shot.
So I don't know if you're going to say InShot, but InShot is a, yeah, InShot is an old school app. InShot was the CapCut before CapCut. Um, and yeah, it's 34. 99 for lifetime access. But also, I think it's a little simpler than CapCut. So if you want one step up, but you don't want to, again, get too deep in the woods.
Almost like how I talked about ScreenFlow before where, you know, sometimes the tech actually slows you down from creating. Um, so I feel the same way about inshot. Like if you just need, you know, simple edits, you need, you know, captions on the screen, like it could do all that on the go. So it's an easy editing tool.
And I love the 34. 99, um, lifetime price with inshot. So easy, easy for like my new students to kind of jump in and start using right away where they'll jump in a cat cup and get scared and never open up the app again. Yeah. And shot definitely is a good winner. You can remove the watermark easily. That's another thing that about CapCut, like, why do you have to put this water?
Right. Yeah. Why, why, and yeah, and you can remove it easy, but why even put it there and let me have to mess with it. Exactly. I'm paying, like, I don't, I don't, I'm paying to not have a watermark here. Right. Agreed. Agreed. Agreed. Before, before you jump to your next one, just again, Omeka, thanks for being on.
John, I see you. O. T. 's back. If you guys have any questions or if you want to add your own apps, um, and you want to join us on stage, feel free to, but I appreciate you guys being here. Back to you, Jasmine. Of course. Um.
Can you hear me? I can't. Oh, you can't. Okay. I got scared again. All right. So my cool, uh, another one that is easy to use, but I kind of have mixed emotions about sometimes, uh, Good old Canva, bro. Because, uh, One thing that I do say up front to my clients is that I am not a graphic designer. I can make you some really dope content to go on your social media, but if you want a legitimate graphic designer, You have to hire one, like, you know, you're absolutely right, right.
And graphic designers despise Canva. Like they, they hate it because they feel like, you know, you're taking it. I mean, it's kind of like you being a photographer. If I was like, oh, you know, I could do that on my iPhone. You're like, no, you cannot. So that's kind of like how. Graphic designers look at Canva, but I do love it.
Very user friendly. Um, and it is possible to make it, um, your own. It just takes, you know, a lot more work to make it not look like everybody else's stuff, much like, uh, how I said with CapCut, um, cause I'm really big. I don't want my things to look like everybody else's. I don't want. Um, I don't want my clients things to look like everybody else's, but it definitely saves a lot of time.
Um, it's only 120 a year. Um, it is just a very user friendly, easy tool to use for, um, For you for to create content. Yeah, I have to agree. I agree so much that I Put literally if you see my page it says canva again So yeah, yeah, regardless of how people feel about it. You almost have to do it So if you if you spend no money on any other app If you're going to get into the creation space, you almost have to get camp.
Canva has like a choke hold on the market. Like if you don't, if you don't get sub magic or Jasper AI, or any of the other tools that we talked about before at the bare minimum, regardless of what platform you're creating for a canvas, still a lifesaver. So just like Jasmine said, there's a lot of, you know, customers or not even customers, like business owners that are like, Hey.
You know, I want this type of flyer. And again, we're social media managers, not graphic designers. Sometimes, uh, uh, a client will hire like a social media manager and expect them to do like five things, but they're just great social media managers. Right. Um, so, but can't, yeah. Right. But Canva can be a new topic.
Yeah. Right. Oh, for sure. We could talk about an hour. We could talk for an hour just on that alone. Um, but yeah, my job is just to, you know, again, get the, get the content out. Um, but if you need deeper help with the content creation, that might mean that you're bringing somebody else to the team. But if you're willing to, to help me help you with everything that Canva provides, and we could just change things up a little bit, it's fantastic.
I also like the new, I guess, video editing portion. Of canvas. So if you do have a quick tick tock or if you want to send it from your phone to again, Um, you know a video a video from your phone straight to the canva application It could do a fair job of chopping it up If you don't want to spend money on adobe or even a screen flow like, you know, we stated before canva could do it But again, you just have to know that there are limitations, but at the, at the very least, spend the money to have Canva Pro.
It's worth it. Yes, it, it, I, when you said, you hit the nail on the head when you said if you don't want to pay for any other, um, um, content creation thing, it's gotta be Canva. It's gotta be Canva. Like, that's gotta be, yeah. Yep, yep. That's gotta be the first thing. Mm hmm. Uh, what you got next? So yeah, shout out, shout out to Canva.
Yeah, shout out to, yeah, Canva's running it. Right, Canva definitely, if they went up on the price, I wouldn't go anywhere. Right, nah, you kinda almost have to have it. The other thing too, before you get to your next one, if someone is thinking about being a social media manager, and they're like, hey, Kaz, what's the first thing I should get?
I always say Canva because at least you know that you could you could throw you could create, you know Some post real quick and get your client up and running But eventually you're gonna have to get deeper, but you should start with Canva for sure. It's gonna inspire you. Yep Okay. So the next one I'm gonna go to I know I mentioned story swag in the beginning, but second one word swag Oh boy, so let me write this one If I don't necessarily want to use Canva or Adobe express, and I just want to do something, you know, fun with words, like if I'm promoting.
Um, it could be anything, but it's, it's strictly just for words and a really cool picture, then I'll go to word swag really quick. And you're talking about making a graphic in 30 seconds and then just either on your feed or in your story, just however, it's, it's really easy. Um, and it's on the, um, less expensive side.
It's only a 60 a year.
Still got you Jasmine.
Yep. I hear you. It sounds like you're in the background, but I hear you.
Nah, it sounds like you're far away. So I'm not sure if your Bluetooth went out,
but as Jasmine comes back out, I'm going to be, um, studying word swag because both story swag and word swag, those are two apps that I've never heard of before. Um, but excited just to kind of jump back in. Uh, I remember having Microsoft Word back in the days and using like WordArt. Uh, so I wonder if it's anything like that.
But either way, WordSwag is on my list. She said 60 per year. So my next app as, um, Jasmine comes back is going to be Mojo. So this is great for Instagram. Um, it's almost like a story video, uh, creator. Where if you want to just get better at Reels, like you have the content. Um, this is especially good for people that have like e commerce sites or if you're just doing like face to camera marketing But you want to incorporate other tools other videos Mojo is fantastic.
So it's a little cheaper than doing, um, you know, both in shot as well as CapCut So it's 4. 99 a month, but the thing I love about Mojo is that they have templates But because they're not as big as CapCut A lot of people haven't seen the templates and they're constantly updating the templates every week.
So you could actually, you know, if you have a client or your client yourself, or if you're a small business owner, you don't want to spend money on a social media manager, manager quite yet. Consider checking out Mojo's for 99. And it just allows you to make short form content, uh, specifically for like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, not for LinkedIn.
Obviously you can put it on LinkedIn, but it's really great graphically for Instagram and TikTok.
Got you back Jasmine.
I still know Jasmine, but I could keep going. I don't know if she could hear me. But I'm going to jump to my next tool. And again, If you guys are on, thank you for being on. If you have any jump in, if not, I could keep going all night. So my next app is going to be an app called many chat. Okay. I can't hear my own echo Jasmine.
So I know you're on.
Yep. And I hear you in the background. I heard you say, okay, but it sounds like you're super far away. But I'm gonna keep going. So my next app is called mini chat. So many chat, um, similar to what we talked about earlier with Calendly, um, gives you the ability to have automation. So when I say automation, uh, many chat will work with instagram, facebook, they'll also work.
with email and SMS is 15 a month. It's free to start up. So anybody could start up, but if you want to get to, you know, other levels of many chat, it's going to be 15 per month. Um, the thing I love about many chat is I'm sure that you've been on Instagram and you see a creator or just, you know, a business owner saying that, Hey, if you want this.
thing right now. Just respond free and I'll get back to you. Well, guess what? They're not mainly doing that. I'm sure that you figured out everybody that's on this call right now. Savvy to know savvy enough to know that they are not doing that themselves. Uh, they're using a tool called mini chat. So what you could do is create automations in both Instagram, Facebook, you know, WhatsApp, email, and text, where if a customer or a user comes into your.
into your funnel or into your, into your platform and they respond with a keyword, you could have it just automatically start talking to them. Um, and I love it. It definitely saves time. Honestly, it does save money too, because sometimes people are paying, um, you know, VAs to do stuff like this. Many chat will definitely do it for you.
It's 15 a month and couldn't live without it. And, um, this is one that I always tell my customers about, even if they're not ready, I'll tell them about it. Tell them about it and see if, um, they need it in their system. And if not, you know, we'll wait and have them manually do stuff. But as they grow in scale and the company gets bigger and busier, many chat is a great application to jump into for sure.
15 a month.
Totally going jazz. I can't hear me. Yes, you're back in clear. I don't know what you did, but it's OK. Yeah, you're back in. Oh, I apologize. My apartment complex, the Wi Fi has been messing up. Oh, no problem. My hotspot. Yeah. Yeah. You're good. You didn't, you didn't miss much. Just mojo and mini chat. Have you heard of mini chat?
Uh, well, I, I could hear you. You just couldn't hear me. Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah. I see a note Mojo and Minichat. Like I have to know for both of them. That's a note for both of them. Yeah. Study, study Minichat again. It's for once you get to a spot where. You can't handle the flow coming in with communication because if you're creating good content for your social media client Like eventually you want people to start reaching out to them and this will do all the heavy lifting So sometimes people pay me to do dms and comment, but that's a whole different animal a whole different beast I honestly think that the client should be communicating but if you know, if it's not the client then many chat should be the next logical option Cool I'm gonna, uh, look into that one.
So my next one, uh, is really like a no brainer, Google workspace. Um, yep, you, you want to be on Google if you have a business. Um, and Google has all the. You know, very universal user friendly tools that you need. Um, yeah, I, I don't even have too much more to say about that. Right. Google Workspace, uh, you want to have a professional brand, uh, it's worth it.
And it's not expensive. It's 12 a month, 144 a year. Like it's, it's worth it, uh, worth to invest in. Right now. I'd agree. Like I have, you know, if you have several businesses or even. Domains, you definitely don't need to be selling your products with the at yahoo at your AOL At hotmail account not at gmail.
None of that. So just tighten up, uh your domain Emails. Yeah, I'd have to agree with that one It's worth the money per month even either 7 or 12. Like I don't even know what they're trying I just give them money. I just send them the money And take it. Yeah. Yeah. I'm with you. So the next one, I know John is listening and, and, and John is a live streaming, um, wizard.
I've jumped into a couple of his lives, but next on my list is something that I think every. Creator she kind of jump into and it's called stream yard. So stream yard is a streaming app for video. I love it I've had it for over a year and I believe that doing live video is Honestly, it might sound more stressful than recorded video but I believe like live video is actually less stressful like once you start off and the reason it is is because when Customers know that you're live I honestly believe that they're a little bit more forgiving.
They don't expect it to be perfect Um, you know, they're listening in they know that anything could happen at any time like jasmine's audio could go out You know, we're live right now. Obviously, it's not video but stream yard will allow you to stream video For at, at the basic price free, the next level up is 20.
I think you should pay for that one. Uh, that way you will have no watermarks and you can stream to at least three destinations at one time. I love that. So if I'm streaming to LinkedIn, I could also stream to my Facebook group or stream to YouTube. So stream yard for the win is again, basic is 20 a month.
And I, I do believe that it's well worth it. Yeah, agreed. I use stream yard every day. Um, at work, uh, because one of the execs, he goes live every day. So I, I love stream yard and everything about it. It works. It works. It works. Yeah. What else you got? Okay. So the next one, uh, this has been, uh, something that I've been using new and it's called, um, Envato elements.
So, um, yeah, that's okay. So you're a fan. So tell them, let's tell the audience about it though. Yes. So with this is another graphic design tool, but, um, Unlike Canva, this doesn't look like everybody else's stuff. Uh, and you can, you know, when you export the templates here, you can export them to Photoshop, or you can export it to Canva if you want, and then play around with it and make it your own.
Um, it's not expensive. I think, uh, I think maybe it's like 15 a month. I don't really know. I don't remember, but, uh, but yes, Envato elements, very, um, attractive, very crisp, uh, graphic design tool. Uh, they have video templates. The stock photos are amazing. I like them better than Adobe stock, even though I just talked about how much I love Adobe.
But, um, no, Envato Elements is, is, is amazing. And I don't even know if I've even tapped into all that. Um, it can do because I just got introduced to the platform maybe two months ago. Oh wow. And I, uh, was like, yeah, I, where has this been all my life? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll agree. So, Envital Elements wasn't on my list, but I'm going to talk a little bit about it, um, as well.
And I'm surprised I didn't have it on my list because I use Envital Elements every single day, but I use it differently than, um, Jasmine spoke about. So, the way she was talking about it, I was actually learning from her. So, I use it in video a lot. So, uh, we use it for B roll. So, um, if we're doing a video about The Atlanta Olympics, you know, we, we could jump on Envato elements and they'll have like background B roll footage of just about everything, pictures, pictures, and video.
Uh, the other piece too is I used to, and I still drone a lot, but I don't drone commercially anymore. So if I need drone shots of specific things, Envato Elements will have the drone shots in video crispy clear, like, I mean, 1080 up to 4k resolution. And then the last piece is, uh, audio. So as I'm creating, if I know that I need commercial free music, if, uh, somebody's starting a podcast and they want me to help them with the introduction, There are thousands, right?
I almost wanted to say hundreds of thousands. I don't think it's hundreds of thousands, but it's more than hundreds and it's less than hundreds of thousands. So it would be thousands of different types of audio that you could use, you know, for your YouTube for if you want to create like a Instagram real and you need music, but you don't want to use trending audio because you want to run an ad.
Um, this is. Envato Elements is perfect for that. So sometimes again, we'll create specific reels that we know we have to use on Instagram, but you know, that have to be turned into an ad later, but you need some type of music. Envato Elements is great for that. Yep. All right. So any questions with that one?
All right, let's go on. I only have two more jasmine. The last one is going to be a surprise But uh, the next one I have is buzzsprout. So buzzsprout is specific to podcasting Uh, we'll have a lot of people i've been podcasting for about three years. I'm, not a huge podcaster. I believe my whole The theory about podcasting is that it's just a tool.
I don't expect, you know, hundreds of thousands of listeners. Um, but I use it for SEO purposes to either help me rank my guests, get them more promo or to, you know, record the video and then use it to chop up later. Um, so. Buzzsprout is a great way for 12. 99 a month for you to kind of start your own podcast.
Number one, two, they'll do all the distribution. So if you're worried about, hey, will my podcast make it to Apple music? Will it make it to Spotify and all the hundreds of other podcast networks? Buzzsprout will do that for 12. 99. They'll also set you up with your own dedicated podcast page. So even if you don't want to tell people, go to Apple, go to Spotify.
You could. Direct them to your website, spend the money that Jasmine was talking about with, you know, Google, get a domain, attach it to Buzzsprout, and now you're Podcast. com will be hosted somewhere again on the interwebs for people to kind of listen and consume your content. Just like YouTube, I believe podcasting, if people are consuming that content, you have potential to have, you know, great clients because they're, they're in their cars, they're on the treadmill consuming you.
They're listening to the audio like this is right, right here. And, um, you're going to have a, uh, a far more dedicated customer as opposed to you just chasing metrics, trying to get the most customers. Yes, ma'am. Buzzsprout. Buzzsprout. Yes, ma'am. 12. 99. Oh. Yeah. Okay. Um, so my, my last one, cause this is my last one is really two platforms, but, uh, they do the same thing.
So, um, and I don't think I had this on my list when I sent it to you, sent it to you, but, uh, Trello. com and monday. com. These are great tools for organization. Monday is great if you are working with the team. So let's say you're the social media manager and then you have a videographer and then you have a, uh, graphic designer, y'all are all working together.
Um, plus you have the client, it's a great way to communicate and say, Hey, this, um, is what I'm at me as a social media manager. This is my task for the week. This is done. Let me tag you and you, you have, uh, you know, and then you can send it to your client or. Um, you know, the graphic designer can be like, okay, these are the graphics are done.
Let me send this to the social media manager. Uh, you post this on the story, you post this on the feed. It's great for organization. Trello is good if it's more of a one on one type situation. So if it's me and my client, it's a great way for us to kind of brainstorm and bounce ideas off of each other. Um, if I create templates for the month to be posted on social media or videos or Um, if we see something on Instagram that inspires us, it can all be posted into separate boards based off of what we, um, you know, based off of what we are posting about.
Um, and it keeps everything organized, uh, rather than us just texting things back and forth or emailing things back and forth, because that can get super overwhelming. Cause you know, before you sent me 25 different, you know, Instagram reels that inspired you. And I'm like. Okay. Like how am I going to go back and scroll and find these things?
So, uh, you know, anytime you're, uh, working in any kind of business or organization is very important. Um, so both of those tools have been really helpful to me with that. Nice. Nice. I'd have to agree. I'm personally using Trello right now, and I've used almost all of them. Monday Trello, ClickUp. And regardless of which one you use, you need some type of organization.
So I got to agree with you, Jasmine, for sure. All right. So I'm up to my last one too. And it's going to probably be the most controversial one. Um, because this tool is also a platform and I love it, even though I. Try to coach my clients to only have, you know, one devoted platform. You see me here heavy on LinkedIn.
I'm on it every day, but I think probably my favorite creator tool is going to be Instagram. Like, so Instagram, the actual app does the most out of. All the other platforms. So when I say the most is, you know, obviously Tik TOK is known for short form video, but you're not posting pictures there and it's tough to message.
Right. Facebook is good. Like if your aunt wants to invite you over, if she hasn't seen you in a long time. Right. But, but regardless of who you are, like everybody has an Instagram, right? So business owners hang out on Instagram. People that are doing e com hangout on Instagram. They have a great story platform So if you want to you know, let your hair down a little bit I see Omeka out there post more stories proud of you, but yeah, you could definitely let your hair down And then to me in my opinion, I think Instagram probably has the best message messaging platform So out of all the platforms and again, it's my Personal professional opinion that you could definitely challenge me, but I think Instagram is the easiest way to actually acquire customers.
Um, now again, when I say you could challenge me. Like I'm on LinkedIn and I've, I've definitely gotten or received, I should say, uh, you know, higher paying, more savvy customers, sometimes, you know, bigger businesses, you know, five to 10 employees on LinkedIn, but. Those are clients. If I'm looking for customers, people that just want to buy products by services, it's going to be Instagram for me.
Um, and then last but not least, like just creating a video, like even if you didn't pay for all those other apps, you can really throw your videos into the Instagram app. And it might be a little janky, but they are getting better and you could create voiceovers. You could do everything right in that one app.
So if you didn't have a place to start, you could start with the Instagram app. Um, again, I know it's controversial because it might not be your main, it might not be your main platform, but definitely if you want to buy something or sell, I should say, sell something on Instagram as a, as a business owner or sell something online as a business owner, start with having an Instagram app.
It's my favorite content creation tool for sure and makes the most money.
Did we lose you again, Jasmine?
Jasmine could be gone. She's probably ran to the Instagram app right now based on how much I talked about it. I see that. Um, what's going on, Cortea? Yep. She's, she entered the chat. Omeka is laughing at that. She's probably, I talked up Instagram so much. She ran to Instagram, um, John. No. Okay. There you go.
You're back. You're back. I'm going to be, I've, I've promised when my apartment complex, is that what it is? I'm going to call them and see how they embarrass me. No, that's fine. That's fine. I know something's going on. It was my chance to keep the audience warm a little bit. Yeah, but I wanted to say, I agree with you wholeheartedly.
Instagram is definitely my favorite platform to, um, is definitely easy to get customers. I can't tell you how many times I've asked somebody, Oh, who did your nails? Who did your hair? Whatever. I don't want their phone number. Can you just send me their Instagram? Yeah, no, no. I absolutely love it. And I recommend again that everybody start off with one app, but if you're not sure, um, you know where they should start, Instagram is good unless you're, you're, you're strictly B2B, uh, or if you're.
Just a better writer than you are a content creator. Start off with either, you know, X, formerly Twitter, uh, or LinkedIn. Um, but your business could definitely generate a lot of revenue, um, on Instagram because it's just a great discovery app too. Just like Jasmine said, finding, finding service providers on Instagram is the easiest thing you could do.
Yes, and you want to make sure that it looks right because that's how you get people to you know Want to buy from you which is where I come in. So I appreciate a matter of fact, that's a great segue So as we land the plane, we're closing. It is a couple minutes after 7 744. So we did good time We appreciate you guys jumping on there will be a replay of this.
They know where to find me But Jasmine, where can people find you if they just need help with social media management? You need help with social media management.
